The tape measure has a decent length but it has a number of frustrations that make it clumsy to use. It’s supposed to stand out to around 3 or 4 metres but good luck with that because it’s too heavy and too flimsy to do that, and the massive metal tab at the end doesn’t help. It catches on literally everything making the tape twist, which causes it to collapse on extension, but also making it unnecessarily difficult to retract as it will often get stuck. The fact the tape then collapses makes it even more awkward. The tape measure is also too bulky, and the locking tab poorly placed, making it difficult to use effectively one handed. This would be less of an issue if you didn’t need your other hand to direct and support the tape so it doesn’t twist and collapse. I make regular use of a tape measure and, unfortunately, this one frustrates me every time I use it, so I’m going to be looking for a better replacement. I do not recommend you spend your money on this tape measure.

Very easy to read and bright colour
Good quality heavy duty tape however the metal tab on end too large & heavy when you start to extend tape, collapses with weight also catches on random edges on way to measuring point due to size and difficult to dislodge better if was carbon fibre @ slightly smaller

I use this specific tape for more than 10 years and till now nothing can compete with a stanley fat max(my opinion) maybe another stanley armour .

Good strong tape, big, hard to hold sometimes when measuring, but good value. The actual tape lock is hard to use and I would say brings this to 3 stars from 4.
