Ordered a new tape online Friday.Hadn’t heard from them by Wednesday.So had to go to tool station on the off chance it was there.Very poor communication.
I have always been a fan of Stanley tapes and bought this when my old 5m snapped, after 32 years of service, and I was not disappointed. It has a really good quality feel and extends further (without buckling) than my larger Stanley tape. Very happy with the new addition to my tool kit

Tape lock stopped working, dismantled it and found the cheap break mechanism snapped in the middle where it is less than 5mm thick. Very poor design.
The first tapes was very strong, but now this are not very good quality.
