So far so good, bit of a palaver starting from scratch but working well for now.
Stoped working after 5 min could not get it to start again spent 20 minutes on hold waiting to speak to tool station, very helpful once I got through new unit on its way out, but very annoying.
Great, works well. Started straight away. Cut the hedge.
Great product, really powerful, quality built and not too heavy for a petrol trimmer.

Great hedging tool on my 1st use, a little on the heavy side compared with others I have owned, never the less very manageable with the rotating end grip. Cuts through 1/2" (12mm) middling to soft stems or branches with relative ease. Stopping and restarting when hot can be a bit troublesome but OK when you read the instructions and get to love Stanly's characteristics. All in all well pleased from day one, time will tell.
Bought this 3 weeks ago. First use took ages to start and then wouldn't idle, had to keep turning it on and off and teeth still moving. This is highly dangerous. Returned for a refund.
Nice bit of kit if not a little heavy.
On first start up and use it was fine; however after stopping first time it just would not restart.
Almost took it back for a replacement but persevered. After it had cooled down, with a bit more vigour it finally fired up. Suspect it was the running in phase due to expansion and contraction of metals as it now runs like a demon.
Will cut through soft half inch branches but not hard ones as likely to stall the clutch.
Great cut generally, just remember to change hands regularly due to fatigue .

Great value for money, I have three large hedges and this cut all of them easily. Starts every time. The only thing is it’s the lightest appliance.
Useful trimner, but a bit heavier than I expected. Please note: if you are not used to mixing two-stroke fuel it is 25ml oil per litre (40:1) and not 44 ml as stated in the manual!
Easy to start when cold, so long as you do what it says in the instructions

Great Shame - i reviewed all the trimmers and this seemed the best one for the money - I like the Stanley brand too. Its been around for ever and the old school tools are made to last. Maybe they have gone to black and deckers philosophy in order to compete on price ? as it broke down straight away. lasted about 4 minutes. it was good while it lasted though. Toolstation refunded without question and I bought a different one (Bosch) that finished the job.
Great product I filled it with fuel & after the second pull it came to like.
Easy to use & having the handle rotation on it is great.
If I have anything to criticise it’s that the foam on the handle is clearly not going to last for long
Works well only tried it once at mo but seems ok
Works just as expected out of the box…worth the money.
Failed to tick over more or less from the start despite using the measuring bottle to mix fuel/oil.
