The Stabila Type 196-2 Spirit Levels are an extra strong robust spirit level range featuring a rectangular profile with two handholds for a positive grip, electrostatic powder coating for scratch resistance and easy cleaning. Two large hand holes are incorporated into the frame for good positive handling even when wearing work gloves, made from two-component technology for comfort and grip. Featuring a new type of removable end cap which allows for flush fitting of the level profile into corners. The end caps are made from two materials and are also equipped with well-proven and patented anti-slip stoppers which allow the user to hold the level against a surface with one hand without slippage, allowing the free hand to undertake marking out. A particular favourite of bricklayers and construction workers, this spirit level can be used in the overhead position by turning the level upside down. In this transfer position you can then precisely measure from underneath . Features one horizontal and two vertical vials, vials accurate to 0.5mm per metre 0.029 0.5mmm in normal working position and 0.75mm per metre in 0.029 0.5mmm overhead position, and two milled measuring surfaces. Vials are guaranteed to remain accurate for 10 years. The Stabila Type 70 TM Torpedo Spirit Levelis alight and versatile level as well as an invaluable part of any tool box. The compact design and magnetic base makes the 70 TM an ideal tool for levelling steel surfaces and working in confined spaces. Because of its size it fits into a side pocket of any trade trousers, so it can be with you at all times.
