Great product …. I’ve put in hundreds of these now, and only had a single screw cam out on me (…and I think that was my fault TBH, as I was at an awkward angle!). Definitely recommend.
These cost more than your standard decking screws but they are worth every penny. No damaged heads and no snapped screws. In fact after putting in over 2000 screws we are still using the same tip that came with them! I wouldn't buy anything else to do decking with.
The product performs really well it keeps my Douglas fir boards nice and tight to my newly made deck. What was even better was the service from Carl at the aberystwyth branch of toolstation. I ordered for collection and forgot to drop past the store twice when picking up my in laws from the train station. Not an easy thing to forget when we live an hour and 45 minutes away from the nearest toolstation... but I managed it. Carl was a superstar and got them sent to me next day delivery. Drive easily with no pilot, even through hardwood decking. Seem to have great hold and the small head sits neatly below the surface.
A quality product, self drills with positive drive head, excellent control with a neat countersunk finish. If you don't want to pay for stainless steel screws then this is probably the next best option

Good screws, I used them to fix board and batten cladding and they pull the materials together well. They come with a T20 bit.
Fantastic deck screws, great quality from all spax products, expensive but you do get what you pay for, the head goes deep & is almost unseen, the thread is really sharp so be careful , the tips of my thumb & fingers were sore after doing a whole deck !
