Purchased this as I am a lazy git I was cutting fast fix boxes into ceiling tiles with a pad saw and thought what would make this easier found this online collected on the way home and OMG this makes life so easy I keep trying to find other uses for it

Works so well never done plaster board cutting for sockets before just line up to your marks on the board, the rock side to side and top to bottom about a minute per hole, just don’t make the mistake I all most did and think cut a second hole right next to your first and you have a double, no don’t do that
Creates big vibration on the multi tool so wouldn’t recommend doing lots of cuts in a short time.
Wish I had this sooner, noticed them at the end of a renovation with lots of pattresses fitted into plasterboard. Used this for moving one that landed behind some furniture. Very easy to use, starting it against a level helped keep it square while it bites in. Just watch out that double sockets are not 2 x the cutter do mark the width first.
Terrible piece of kit, snapped after cutting one hole out. Left a hole too big for the Appleby box.

This is amazing, had been taking me around 5 minutes to cut some boxes. Needed some more blades for the multi-tool and saw this and thought why not?
Cut 3 boxes in the same time as one, little bit of practice on some board beforehand to get the hang of it and away we went. Cuts double boxes too with some careful positioning and no doubt triple the same way. Fantastic.
Piece of crap. Broke as soon as it touched the wall. Didn’t even cut one hole.

Great for drywall back boxes, seems to cut ok not a criticism of the item but does create a lot of dust. Cutters seems to create a bevel rather than being perfectly square.
