A lightweight helmet, comfortable and good locking mechanism on the hinge (seems fine but early days). Good visibility when welding. Seems good to me, an occasional welder.

Works really well and decent quality too.

The grind switch is inside and not outside like other similar models.

This helmet has just given up , just before it’s second birthday. Firstly when new it was great , it’s lense still is. Easy to adjust and quick reacting. It’s the plastic pivot and adjustment knobs which aren’t robust enough. The headstrap adjust knob jammed when an internal bit of plastic snapped inside, have to dismantle to adjust now. The helmet pivots got more and more loose up until stripping when trying to tighten them more ,to stop the thing slamming down into your chest. I’m now looking at helmets with spare back up so worn bits can be replaced.

Brought this one as a upgrade from my previous one. I've had to go back to using my old one after a month.
Doesn't seem too strong. Feels cheap and like it will break. The main outside replacement eye shield is sold by Toolststion, but is the wrong size. So I have not been able to get another. It's very thin and has gotten scratched up very quickly.

Great for welding but I find I get weird looks in co-op tho?

This helmet is a safety hazard.
I unpacked it looked good set the dials to recommend settings.
Pressed the test button all seamed fine until I started to weld the auto darken module didn't work.
I ended up getting a full welding arc,
Which temporarily blinded
me.
I checked the settings.
Then looked up at the sun still didn't work.
So returned it to tool station for a full refund.
They didn't want to give me a refund saying it had to be sent away to have it tested if it was faulty then I would get a refund.
Manager is wrong consumer rights act say you can have a full refund within 30 days of purchase for faulty goods.
Your contract is with toolstation not the manufacturer.
So don't let them fob you off.

I purchased this welding mask on click and collect. The ready e mail came back very quickly and my partner picked it up from the store. There was no waiting and the staff were courteous and welcoming. Top marks

Got this to replace a more expensive mask and am not disappointed.
This is lighter , more comfortable and reacts quicker .
