Unfortunately the catalogue tells you to buy a driver it's a 4 pin connection, but this strip has a 6 pin connection on it. Toolstation actually don't sell a driver compatible with this strip. I changed for the varying white strip and all was well, but if I'd wanted colour I couldn't use a smart driver.
Purchased with recommended driver.. it is not compatible.. had to research and found compatible smart driver elsewhere as Toolstation do not stock… Wanted to use as a stand alone smart light.. will work with (recommended) remote and a not smart driver (24v driver) so wasn’t going to work as described…product has a 6pin connect/driver has a 4pin connect/ remote has a 2pin input to 6pin output so wouldn’t connect together…
Bought with the sensio smart driver and remote control listed in the description, works well. Power from switch connects to driver, driver connects to smart control module, which then connects to the led strip.
Had some trouble connected the remote control to it. But you just need to click the match button and hold whatever number zone you want the light to be on on the remote control for like 5 seconds. Then click that zone again and it will work
These are the LEDs I wanted, however, the suggested "required" driver (49854) is incorrect. The connectors on the LED strip arent compatible with it. The 2.5m extension cables are also incorrect and also have ends not compatible with either the driver or the LED strip.
I was struggling to find the "Flux" product on Sensio's own website, so was hoping for the best with the order really. There were no reviews at the time of order and no product datasheets available.
Sensio branded stuff is usually pretty good and the quality of the items received look great. Just the compatibility of the parts listed here isnt.
