Easy to use and goes further than you might think....can be used for many purposes... useful for giving grip to manual wheelchair push rims....burst hosepipes and protecting cables... This is one of my go to Toolstation box essentials and excellent value...
I love self amalgamating tape and always use it on auto-electrical wiring connections to strengthen and insulate. This one isn't the cheapest but has proved more cost effective to use. I've previously bought the white 'paper' backed stuff which can be tricky and tine consuming to peel. This brand has proved much easier to peel thus faster to use and stretches better thus is going further.I'll definitiely be buying more of this.
Quality tape. Easy to use. Stretches anx sticks. Recommended
This tape is really good. Very stretchy and bonds really well. Only downside is if you cut the tape strsighr across with scissors and lose the extra bit of backing tape, it is really difficult to separate the rubber tape from the backing.

Good self amalgamating tape. Yes need to remove the protective layer and of course stretch it as you wrap the item - but great value and does the job
Doesn’t work at all to repair leaks externally. Cannot work in its own as any pressure just pushes it away.
Despite being marked as 19mm, it’s actually only 13mm. So I rejected it and had a refund.
The waste water pipe I had to fix had separated from a 90deg bend and I wasn’t sure if this tape would bridge the gap but it did. With hindsight this 19mm wide tape was a bit narrow but as there was 10m of it and I only had one joint to fix there was plenty to spare. The joint has been tested a few times and no leaks! It was easy to wind onto the pipe and bend despite me being up a ladder at the time. The tape stuck well to itself.
Didn't self amalgamate , I have used this type of tape for years and there was something badly wrong with this , wether it was past it's self by I don't know
Nightmare to get the tape covering off doesn’t stick please stop selling this

A really handy item to have in the house. Can be used on electrical cables and in an emergency water piping. Very easy to use.

Easy to use non messy and economical
So it’s supposed to seal up leaks. But then it’s supposed to be applied to ‘clean and DRY’ surfaces. Show me a leak with a dry surface and I’ll cook you some leak and potato soup.
Strong and durable tape great for sealing cables to make a water tight seal for outdoor use would highly recommended easy to use
