The alloy bevel gear head paired with a composite motor housing provides durability whilst keeping the overall weight to just 2.5kg for comfortable handling during extended use. The rotating self-contained dust extraction port connects to the included dust collection bag, helping to capture debris at source and reduce airborne dust particles. This disc sander comes supplied with a 150mm hook-and-loop backing pad for quick and easy abrasive disc changes, plus a side handle for enhanced control and stability during operation. The hook-and-loop system accepts standard 150mm sanding discs with matching backing, making consumables readily available. With a 3.5mm orbit size, the DAS151 suits fine to medium sanding tasks including surface preparation, paint removal and finishing work.
