Brilliant , two pushes and all clear, problem solved.

These rods are strong and flexible. The brass threaded ends hold tight and give me confidence that they won't come undone and block the drain run.
Well worth the price!.

Ordered at 5.30 for an emergency but didnt realise that they clise at 6. Didn't help ar all.

The gulley outside kept getting blocked. I tried chemicals at first, which worked for a week until the blockage re-emerged.

I got this drain rod, and used the relevant attachment to use it as a plunger. It fixed the issue within minutes for something that was causing me 3 weeks over aggravation.

It's expensive for what it is, but felt like good quality. However, I wouldn't be able to judge it accurately as I lack comparative experience to measure it againt.

In terms of the screw fittings on the rods, i think they're brass. And about 4mm deep. So probabbly they could have been deeper to get greater stability, if indeed the rods were intended to be used as a plunger.

Each rod is just over 1ft, but didn't need more than 2 for clearing the gulley.

I had a downpipe I needed to clear, the corkscrew on the end was able to bust through the roots and allow the water to flow again.

You won't be able to get around a 90 degree bend but thankfully I didn't need to.

Job done and a new tool for the garage.

Perfect for the job. 10 rods with brass connectors join to my old set.

Really good tool. I use it for large cabling jobs.

Save money to buy these rods we had tough blockage on our drainage and after 15 mins all clear.One advice - check after 2 or 3 uses are screw properly as they get loose with effort otherwise no issues

Need an extra set to get down a long run. Good quality rods for the price, ends feel more secure than my current set. Flexible enough to rod from a manhole. Would buy Alain

Well made and sorted out my drain blockage in no time. I would have liked a bag of with them rather than two cheap plastic buckled bands.

Good value rods, working as expected. I wish they included a carrying case for easy storage, even if it was an extra.

Does the job. Rods connect easily and seem fairly robust although it remains to be seen how durable they It would have been nice if a bag to them in had been included for the peice

I found this product adequate for the money but nothing special. My biggest criticism is the screw in joints which even with strong pressure on them they come apart too easily, which for their purpose could be a disaster!

Excellent set of rods, needed a minimum of 17 so bought a second set same day

We bought these because we thought theu would be better than the cheaper set available. The connections do not have the swivel type connectors which are common on other sets. This means that as you use it the connectors loosen off. This is what happened and half the rods ended up down the drain! So unless you in a rush i would buy the ones with swivel connectors

Light weight and handy with enough tools supplied to tackle most drain and sewer blockages.

Great Rods. Does the job and fairly priced. I would recommend.
