Amazingly effective brush to help get moss off roof tiles! Fitted it to extendable poles for decorating ( roller brush head), plus a car brush/ window cleaning pole.
Exactly what I needed to clean a drain. Cleaned pipes where the old rubber piece kept getting stuck.
Does the job, but the thread isn’t very deep and you’ll need to keep turning clockwise

I bought this as I have a problem with roots from a bush in my drain. The bristles are very stiff, so they should easily break off any small roots that find their way in the drain in future. It fits on my universal rods.
Although rothenberger is not marked on the item. It off good quality. I used it to clean the flu on my wood burning stove after i had clipped 4mm of the lenght off the brissels to fit a 100 mm pipe.
The brush is very rigid. This could be good thing, since it will definitely be able to give a good scrub to soil pipes. However, the rigidity also means that it can be hard to fish back and forth, offering significant resistance. The 3/4 thread joint seems strong enough to trust. However, I would prefer to have an option for a less stiff brush also for preclean and use in areas where there is a lot of resistance in the pipe.
