The Rodo Brush Mate 4+ Brush Storage System is one of those things you never knew you needed, but when you got it, you wonder how you lived without it.
How often, when decorating, do you have to stop and spend time cleaning your brushes, knowing all too well that you will be doing the same job the following day.
You'll spend about 10-15mins cleaning your brushes - wouldn't it be great if you could leave the brushes in something without the risk of them drying, but just pick them straight up and crack on.

This no longer works. New formula is rubbish, changing all fluids and pads made no difference. Brushes rock solid in no time. Binned two brush mates and all bits n bobs, better off leaving a oil brush in water overnight imo
Brushmate 4 its self is great ie compact and the vapour pad is clean and and fits inside perfectly but the brush clips are rubbish.
I had one of these years ago and never had any issues with it. I then moved onto the big box which I have had for many years. I then bought this small one again as an extra for some dark oil base brushes. It hasn't kept any brushes soft for any more than several days. I have had to throw out a lot of good brushes due to this. I think the pad you get for them now has changed in some way. Not sure if this is due to VOC rules, but I feel it has ruined the product for me. Never had any issues when it was the old pads with the star indicators on them.
Had one of these years ago, and got lost in a house move. They work amazingly and keep brushes soft and usable for months without having to clean up.
The jury is still out on this. It's quite a faff trying to fit four brushes into the clips. The brushes have stayed fresh overnight and we'll see how long one of the pads lasts?
Saved me hours of cleaning brushes, my least favourite job at the end of a long day!

You can’t fail with a Brush mate. The small 4 brush is perfect for home DIY but the larger big$ is the one if you can afford it . As a retired PnD I can recommend the spend

I have used these in the past and these are amazing when using oil base paints, when you can store your brush ready to use straight away on the next use.
The vapour strip that comes with the brush mate gives you 6 months use before it start losing its strength but you can buy the vapour strips separately.
You can fit 4 brushes in nicely but i also slip the mini roller in also when using for doors, which again keeps the roller soft and ready to use out of the box.
It is certainly something i would recommend for professional and DIY use every time, the price is a little steep for a plastic box but to replace brustes works out a lot more expensive.
A nice product. Easy to set up. The lid could be a little tighter but overall this is close to perfect and saves you so much time washing out brushes that you will need on heavy rotation, whether professionally or for that big project at home.

Decent product, but not as good as the older metal ones. Does a decent enough job, but i also keep my oil based brushes in clean white spirit and just give em a dry b4 use...
Superb product, no need to clean brushes every time you use them. Brushes are ready to use again straight from the box. Used it over several weeks whilst repainting the house.
Game changer. Never cleaning a brush again. It’ll pay for itself in just a few projects as I end up either binning brushes or doing an awful job of cleaning them.
