Used for screwing post holder to concrete base. Did the job although big, strong spanner required.
I purchased these "just in case" as I have used this kind of thing before. A friend and I have just finished replacing a conservatory roof with a rubber sheet flat roof. These screwbolts came in VERY handy.

Just recently purchased these concrete screwbolts from Toolstation, they are amazing
.No rawlpug needed, just drill the recommended pilot hole using a hammer drill, better a SDS drill , blow out the dust Insert the bolt slowly tighten using a compact driver or a wrench.
Great product. Used them to secure a wooden building to a concrete base. Just drilled an 8mm hole though the wood and concrete and then run the bolts through with a nut runner. Much easier than having to mark then drill and put in plugs.
Do exactly what they need to, pushed them through some pretty tough concrete.
These fly into concrete with an impact, no fails reported with a few boxes used.
Fitted 80 of these in one hit and all cut in nicely and reamed up tight with a new 8mm drill bit.
You must blow out the holes after drilling. Heads are quite low profile and a socket will slip off if you're not careful.
Excellent product. Fixed a safety handrail to a coping stone on a parapet wall. Not cheap though.
Tried these 8mm screws as an alternative to using wall plugs for fixing to brick. As long as you avoid the mortar, they work great
