Used them for anchoring seat bases. Need to drill hole over depth to accommodate some debris in hole if you can't blow it out. Impact driver a must for seating them fully
Used these to fix down composite fencing posts into concrete and did the job well.
Bought to secure 100mm fence post to wall. Drilled 8mm hole as to instructions. Screwed in with socket and tee bar as easier to screw in straight. Secured post perfectly. Just a note… some reviews said that the screw size is labelled wrong and they are 8mm not 10mm. The unthreaded shank is 8mm but as most will know, a screw or bolt is measured by the threads which are 10mm. Also, if you put a small blob of grease at the hole entrance, the screw threads in easier.
Ffs picture the scene Friday 1:32pm proper thirst on an we run out of fixings I know right get down the the boozer and hydrate no no no my pedigree chum some bright spark has the idea of going to tool station and can you Adam and Eve it they only have some in stock so thanks very much tool station no early one for me 👎👎
Bought these for fence posts into concrete to aid new wooden gate installation, drill to correct depth and drill bit size, install bolt with impact driver or socket wrench. Great fit and solid hold, no need for raw plugs or other type anchors, when using these.
.
Very misleading, anyone who uses these concrete anchors know that the diamiter of the anchor is the same diamiter as the hole size to be drilled as they cut into the concrete with the course thread on the screw, so i needed 10mm x 150 but the screws in the pack are actually 8mm x 150? pack clearly marked 10mm x 150 be warned!
I used these bolts in the garden to screw down steel post shoes for my new posts. Went in like a dream. Very easy.
I already had one 10mm (M10) concrete bolt (left over from previous purchase several years ago), so drilled all holes to suit and then ordered this item from Toolstation. Unfortunately I didn’t check when at the branch, but when at home found that they actually M8, which meant I could not use and returned for refund.
While returning I asked to see, as an alternative, the longer version of 10mm size that they had in stock - those were also incorrectly packaged actually being 8mm, so instead I went next door (to the well known competitor) and got the correctly sized 10mm bolts, which were perfect!
Bought ‘M10’ size (and that is what the plastic bag packaging label said) but they were actually 8mm diameter, so no good for the 8.5mm holes that I’d already drilled in brickwork. Toolstation branch accepted & refunded without fuss.
Well made, great quality bolts. Drill size clearly printed on the front of the pack - 8mm drill to take 10mm bolts.
Firmly holds brackets against concrete blocked wall.
Easy to use.
First time I've used these and found them very effective. Drilled straight through the garage door frame and still holding two months later.
quality concrete screws just drill and bolt in various size always in stock and having shop always at hand is goos
Excellent service and product as always from Toolstation
It's not clear at all in the description or specifications, that the hole you drill for this size is 8mm,
For a 10mm hole you need the12.5 x 140.
An excellent item. I used them on top of a 2’6” wall in conjunction with timber spurs. Unfortunately I had to get some washers from a closer supplier to the job as the picture showed the bolts to have a flange.
Excellant strength, just drill a 10mm and send it home..
“Great product, Easy to use, affordable, and perfect for both beginners and pros. highly recommend!”
Good strong bolts, I bolted fence posts brackets to the top of an old wall , ideal for the job , if one could have a deal for a multi pack buy even better, one drills a hole a mm smaller and the bolts cut in I used a ratchet and socket
Great fixing into brick and concrete / fixed gate post to hang double gates
The bolts that are sold by tool station with this part number are listed and pictured as having a flange. This product is listed incorrectly and when purchased does not have a flange so I had to purchase extra washers to accommodate this. On the Rawl plug website this part number is listed without flange so it is a tool station listing issue. The actual bolts are very good and strong but annoying that they are listed incorrectly.
