I bought these Rack Keys to replace the original Chubb keys.
They work okay, but they are not as long as the originals, so I have to make sure I push the key as far as it will go to get it to work.
Too thin to operate lock so i had to return the item
Works well and good price for the item, the keys do ware down and require replacement after a while.
Used only a few times and already showing signs of wear to the splinned shaft, material is very soft type of cheap brass.

Cheap but not as good as the Yale manufactured ones as a failure on one from the off
Did the job of opening the lock but was not easy to get the lock to unlatch. there is to much taper on the front. i think the hole in our cupboard door should go through door. so it did the job.
Compatible for Chubb type lock , great price and does the same as expensive original key
Needed for a frequently used cupboard - typically the ones the team had been left had vanished, so purchased spares for everyone.
After primary side gate (5 lever mortice), smaller midway needed to have lockable accessible from both sides security system. I found these bolts. They were easy to install and use.
It fits okay, i.e its standard sized. The mechanism feels flimsy and might break, like the last one did
I bought these because the length was short and fitted the door I was working on. The more expensive ones were much longer. The bolts were very reasonable in price but that's the 'catch'. Not very sturdy, no pinpoint marker on bolt to judge the opposite drilling entry. And the worse screws in the world. Had to chuck them and use my own. Disappointing.
Simple rack bolts, don’t look as robust as Chubb bolts, but will only be used occasionally, so should last.
The keys were a little shorter than the old ones but with a bit of ingenuity I made them fit and they work perfectly. Easier than replacing the whole lock. Thanks
For the price, these rack bolts are good value but not quite the quality you get by paying for the top brands
Bought this to lock internal doors to close off a room from guests. It started to fail within a few uses and almost locked me in the room. Avoid like the plague. Buy the quality ERA product instead. Keys are also a different diameter than the ERA or Yale gear. Toolstation should discontinue this item as the quality is no good. Returned and refunded.
The previous key was less pointy and was slightly more effective but this new version works well.
I have a numger of rack bolts on my doors and I ruined one of my Chubb rack bolt key so wanted a replacement. These keys just don't fit with the rack bolts that I have installed from various suppliers. I will probably just order Chubb keys and solve the problem.
Quality locks Toolstation always delivers the staff are amazing at the branch I visit and with click and collect it makes life easier.
Although not made of brass, the bolts are sturdy and work well
