Excellent quality, even better price. And available from stock. What more can you ask for.
This is the lid that’s not included with the conduit box
Knew I had to order cover separately to box but didn't realise neither had fastening screws
Flimsy cheap plastic. The plastic is so thin the screws pull through it easily.
These do what they should and are compatible with other products (boxes) in the conduit range with are no longer supplied with the boxes.
Does the intended job. Why no screws with this or the box though?
Everyone is saying it. The boxes should come with the lids and screws. It's obvious and simple. Had to waste time cutting M4 bolts down to size. Grrr!
Cover for the conduit boxing unit used for protecting cable.
Basic lid for trunking conduit box - not much to say, fits OK but not perfectly as not recessed into box but overlaps sides slightly. Silly not to have this as part of the conduit box and with the right size bolts.
Perfect little conduit box cover. Does exactly what it is meant to at a very reasonable price.
Worth the money and well manufactured did the job just fine
Does the job but there are no screws to attach the lid or waterproof diaphragm (rubber) that automatically come with some other makes albeit (unsurprisingly) they are more expensive.
Easy to screw to junction box, valuable item, quite strong PVC
Just the job. The product was a fair price, finished well and fitted correctly.
The conduit box is sold as four, low-cost, separate items (box, cover, gasket, screws) and most customers are likely to require all four. Surely it would make more sense to sell the assembled box as a unit as is done by other suppliers. The website does not even show the cover, gasket and screws as related items to the box.
Again, why sell separately from the boxes in a retail environment? And especially why not include a screws? Buying from Toolstation it's likely to be a one off so I would need 2 screws, not 100.
Extra negative points for the holes being too big to accept the head of a standard m3.5 socket screw, even though the thread matches.
Oh, and why put a logo on the plate?!?! Makes it look decidedly amateur.
Used to blank hole in Waterbutt. Had a hole in a Waterbutt that was too large to take a tap. Drilled new holes in two lids, sandwiched the two box lids with CT1 sealant over old hole, fitted new tap.
Good product but a bit strange that these have to be bought separately.
It's a lovely lid however, it is sold separately from the box and neither come with the machine screws to attach the lid, a long search through the bits box to find something that fits, annoying!
No screws included, I will return and buy it somewhere else where I can find a package with everything included . Plus, the branding stamped in the top is awful.
