Only place open on a Saturday afternoon that sold these kinds of flexi hoses in stock. Took me 3 attempts to get it working without leaking; turns out the o-ring inside is so weak that it can bend and move about when connecting it onto copper pipe. In the end it only worked when I rubbed a bit of silicone grease around the o-ring inside it with a brush. You get what you pay for I guess… unbranded stuff is never a good idea. The internal bore is 10mm too, not 13mm. Then again, all flexi hoses have tiny internal bores.
Just popped back off once water was turned back on.
The push fit connector worked well on the second attempt of fitting. Check that the seal on the inside of the fitting is in place properly at both ends. It leaked first time as the seal moved. Once the connector had been removed and the seal put back in the correct place, it worked correctly, no leaks. Well worth the £5 paid, other diy stores sell the same product for twice the price.
I was a bit sceptical, but it works fine without any leaks. I choosed this item due to a hard reach pipe issue...
Does the job quick and simple
Just push connector onto pipe - job done
First time using push fit flexi hose, so easy it doesn’t feel right. I joined copper and plastic piping, worked a treat.
Good quality fitting - easy to connect quickly and excellent leak free seal.
I bought this and fitted it but had a leak. Turns out the seal was defective. This was no problem for tool station they just let me swap it for another. Fitted it with ease and no leak second thing round. So check the seals would be my only advice and 5 stars for toolstation giving me an instant swap if the product. I did notice on the first one also that the metal outer coil has burrs which made think the first one i got was probably made on a Friday before an early finish. Would i but again? Absolutely. These things happen.
I purchased this item to quickly by pass a shower pump I was changing. Ideal for the job
Good service from the staff always get what I want .
WHAT FANTASTIC FITTINGS, JUST PUSH ON AND THATS IT, UNBELIEVABLE...
Nothing much to say other than it fitts well with no leaks and good value for money
Easy to fit & has done the job well. In stock & click & collect works well for me.
A great way to alter your pipework when changing taps. Just add an inline stop valve & these connections can be disconnected & used again.
Used this to link hot & cold feeds to remove airlock. Very simple to use & good quality push fit.
Wish I'd bought these before starting the job. If in doubt, but them! For a quick fit solution, these literally took me 2 minutes.
Great product very easy to use. Would buy again. Strong Flexible.
Good product, it's a good idea to lubricate the inside of push fit ends with vasaline to aid assembly. Lime scale build up around the oring will make disassembly difficult.
Great for a quick fix Isolate, cut pipe, push fit new section of pipe, and tirn water back on . Less than 10 mnutes GREAT
Great product…easily fitted. Used to replace a snake of unnecessary 90 degree copper bends to pass an obstruction. Used with a short length of speedfit and all looking tidy now
