Not much to say really push it in job done with no leaks
Doesn't fit my ABS solvent weld waste pipe. Plug outer diameter is 40.85mm whereas my ABS solvent weld pipe has an internal diameter of 38.42mm.
Push fit - works ok but will be no use under pressure
Used this to seal a pan connector with a 32mm waste outlet which the plumber had botched with a piece of pipe and a stop end which was the wrong size.
It Needed to be adjusted around the edges with a grinder by a few millimetres a little bit of sealer and bob’s your uncle did the job properly. Stopped the smell coming out.
Incorrectly described as it suggests it fits a 40mm waste pipe. It does not.
This push fit socket was just the job to plug the hole in the soil stack left by redundant bathroom waste pipe
Great product, perfect for capping off old bathroom bidet waste pipe.
purchased to replace 40mm shower waste pipe removed from rubber boss in side of soil stack.Plastic could not have been thinner despite product being more expensive than competitors and a loose fit so sealed in with silicone . A small taper on it would be a better design.
It's a very simple plastic part, but is very expensive for what it is. It does the job required of it, push fits into rubber grommet to close a hole.
this is a standard fitting and as description a basic fitting
I'm sure this plug is perfect for the right size pipe but it won't fit older waste pipe. Glad I also bought a multi-fit cap which completed the job successfully.
I used this plug to block a push fit tee and seal the waste pipe while I was fitting a new shower tray. Did the job -simple but effective

Quite simple to seal the end of a drain pipe and avoid smells
If you are looking for a 32mm plug, keep looking. OD = 34mm ID = 28mm. Others have mentioned this but it is still being sold under this description.
