This valve would have been just right. However I had made a mistake in buying the 1 1/2 inch rather than the 22mm version. I exchanged it but the 22mm version did not fit as a replacement. It was about 8mm shorter than the old valve.
The only place I could find these urgently. Did the job exactly as expected and very good value.
I bought 2 of these to replace the existing valves on my central heating pump, which had started to weep from around the operating screw. The job went well until I refilled the system and one of the new valves was also leaking from around the operating screw. What a disapointment. New valves which had never been used or operated leaked from the word go. I did manage to get it to stop by rotating the valve a couple of times but frankly this is not acceptable, they should have been ok from the start. Anothet example of poor quality design and no way to access the seal to put it right.
Got this to replace one leaking round the stem the old one was really difficult and corroded must have been there 20 years or more and could not remove the valve stem nut so replaced it with this one, perfect fit and no more leaks highly recommend it.

Decent valve for the money, but would be better with rubber/vinyl washers.
Brought this as I had a leaking valve. Installed it and straight away it started leaking. The washer let it down. Not rubber. I went to city plumbing and Brought 4 Circulation Pump washers for a few quid. Swapped it over. You can see the difference in the picture. Job done
Had to replace as old one was leaking and unable to close, local branch had one instock ordered and collected within 10mins.
Replaced and system now all working and I'm able to Isolate that part of the central heating system if needed.
Direct replacement for ball o fix pump valves that had seized.
Did the job and it was available when i needed it. Rubber washers would have been nice.
I checked out eBay and other suppliers and these are great value for something that’s essential on a new central heating system
Good value and quality , fitted to replace 21 year old ones
Fairly standard kit, nothing much that can go wrong apart from seizing up in a few years or not closing properly due to hardened sludge. I’d recommend using a suitable sealer around the olives to avoid any slight leaks.
This pump valve does the job and is good value for money
It works. Had to have a bit of a fiddle to find out how to get the nut on.
Good price, feels good quality ,does its job , saves trying to take the old ones off a broken water pump.
Fitted perfectly, reasonably priced and in stock to pick up in 5 minutes, sweet, I was changing my pump, the existing valves have never shut off so I thought I would replace them both, It was a godsend for toolstation to be open late, done a click and collect, items ready as soon as I turned up, got the job done that night rather than waiting till the next day, finally after 10 days with no hot water or heating ,all is good now
Value for money. There's not much more you can say.
