Brilliant bit of kit! Works really well, neat and smart
This unit was easy to fit, and dispenses with the charger for my toothbrush, freeing up space in the bathroom.

Wanted to replace an existing shaver socket with this dual shaver socket and toothbrush charger. Easy to fit (NB it needs a deep wall box as transformer requires the depth) and the finishing bezel/surround sets it off very well. Looks good quality.

The standard socket allows shaver plugs with various pin shapes to be used. This one only accepts round pin. Dissappointing

Great item. I had to make a few adjustments to the old back box for it to fit as the recess wasn't large enough but after this adjustment it fitted lovely.
Easily installed in place of an existing existing shaver socket.
This unit does not feel as substantial as the existing MK socket but seems OK once fitted.
Judging by the slightly warm feeling of the toothbrush holder I suspect that there is some residual power being consumed with no shaver or toothbrush attached to charger.
The charger sits unobtrusively on the wall of our refreshed bathroom until we want to use it. Having it permanently available any time the toothbrush needs charging is great. We haven't needed to try the shaver socket yet but it should be very convenient.

Purchased as a replacement to replace a toothbrush charger only. Easy to fit, looks good and works great.
A good product that does what it says. Only recently installed, so this is my immediate view.
I've tried a few shaver sockets and they all hum. This is even with just a unconnected shaver lead plugged in. FYI without anything plugged most (all?) switch the transformer off. The only ones that are silent or nearly so, even with a toothbrush charger connected, are ones I fitted 12yrs ago when companies remembered how to make them properly, not just cheaply. This product solves the problem on hum by building in a toothbrush charge so it is total silent overnight. For bedroom with a sink, or an ensuite, this product is your best bet. Note there some hum when using a shaver so it's not a solution for his and hers toothbrushes although you could just alternate using the charger. I suspect the shaver points with USB might also be silent but then you'd need a toothbrush that uses USB. I couldn't get the white frame to properly, it would bend rather than clip in but I'm fitting the chrome surround eventually so I didn't spend much time on this, but on the other hand I shouldn't have to make adjustments to the plastic. Visible screws going through would work better. The chrome one seems to clip better with metal "spring" clips.
