Brillant does the job, been looking for one for a while that is independent from the mortise lock, another shop “w” told me that this type of fixing was no longer sold and I had to have the mortise which I declined, this has now been fitted and works brilliantly. And cheaper than your rival company by £3!

Sounds like a superhero name. Deadbolt. We used this latch to add a turn lock to our bedroom door to keep the kids from wandering in at unwanted times as they are prone to do. 😂

easy to drill in (standard), but contains both chrome/gold plates and additional hard plastic lock catch for on side installation. of course, fixing screws are shajt but that is to be expected
Modify my existing bathroom handle with lock system. Works fine, well built.
The size of the square hole for the handle as this one is far to small for my brass handles I also bought the premium sprung bolt tubular mortise latch which has a larger square hole which works with my handle please put the size of the square hole in the product details and technical spec.
good deadbolt but fit squarely to avoid jamming
Having changed all the indoor handles from brass to chrome, I was in need of a new deadbolt to replace the original in Chrome also. Having looked around, ToolStation had exactly what I needed and at a decent price.
