Bought this product recently to replace a worn out latch and couldn’t believe the price and quality. Very happy and glad I bought two for future use.
Standard 8mm square spindle would not pass through and would have needed hammering in. I had to use a file on the square female part of the catch till eventually the spindle passed through easily.
Had already fitted four of these bought 2 more but the plates for the door receiver would not line up so was disappointed with them and thought about retuning them but had opened both to see if there was any variation but there wasn’t not very good thanks Tony

This is the second one I have bought, I only needed it for the strike plate. But all feels good quality. There’s a housing for behind the strike plate which looks tidy.

Nice and solid construction. Two different latch plates make it easy to fit to any doorway.
Excellent replacement for an old sprung bolt item that was damaged. It also had the option of 2 plates to fit as required.
