Very crudely made however, used cast into concrete as post hold downs, they work well.
3 of the 4 Powaposts were fine, the fourth had its plate welded across the fixture hole. I had to get an exchange which was inconvenient.
Ideal for the job and a reasonable price. Good friendly service in Redditch.
an affordable 'concrete-in' base that works well. Mine were a little distorted but we got there in the end with a little manipulation. They require a little settling out and pre planning, but work excellently once in place. They could be painted if required. I bolt the post to them using stainless steel bar and dome nuts. Good product at a good price.
This product is great for decking supports keeps wood from touching ground. Highly recommend
Very easy to use and a great way to salvage rotten posts. I have a 20 year old pergola made of 4x4 posts some of which have rotted out completely. I just dug out underneath, cut off and treated the posts at the bottom and concreted these in. Very easy and cost-effective way to repair.
Just what I needed to secure 4 posts for a pergola. Couple of minor gripes would be the plates aren't always square to the uprights and the lower hole is close to end of the post but would still use again as overall quality ok and great price.
Useful reasonably priced item, sturdy, and did the job.
These post bases did what I needed and at a fairly good price. However, I don’t understand why the bottom of the 2 holes is so close to the flat plate. Making it pointless, in my opinion. As it is to low to be used for attaching to the 4inch (100x100mm) wooden posts.
Very strong and worked perfectly. Can be extended with threaded bar through the hole at the bottom as well.
Good gear. Well made, does the job, should last until the sun goes supernova
Just what was needed and they allowed me to create a deeper concrete foundation.
Not used yet but previous ones have been excellent.
