Excellent product for keeping timber off floor and structurally strong
Bought a lot of these in the past and stand the test of time.
Needed to lift and help fix bottom of post of the ground
Item is functional but a bit roughly made. Screw holes could be. larger.
Nice item. Unfortunately the lower post fixing hole is too low making the screw to close to the bottom of the timber post. I re drilled it higher and counter sunk the hole so the screws didn’t foul the fence panel when sliding it in.
It's the first time I've used this type of fixing and although they seem to be great for keeping the timber off the floor the holes that are drilled in the tabs are a little too close the timbers edge, It would be better with longer metal tabs. I had to buy 10 inch long bolts to put in the bottom in order to seat the pad on a concrete base. This worked well and was very secure once the cement was cured. I'm not sure if there is a proper anchor bolt that does the same for this type of base.
Good quality galvanised base plates for 4x4 posts. Great for decking construction or internal floor strengthening. I used these with M10 x 60mm stainless steel coach screws onto concrete
Easy to locate via the internet with toolstation online. Good choices of bolt down bases and the price was better than the competitors. Quick and easy to book and collect. Job done without delay with click and collect.
Simple design and will be using it to anchor a shed down. Can fit snugly around a 4x4 so some mallet persuasion required
Handy bases for 4inch posts in order to keep them off the ground. Very good value.
robust construction, accurate to take the post. Very easy to install
Good quality product at a good price that will do the job very nicely.
Great for fixing a post to concrete and keeps it dry at all times. Great product 👌
Very Heavy duty post mounts, some of the bases were welded in on the wonk, but went back in and swapped them with better ones, no frills post mounts mot very pretty to look at, but seem robust enough
Cheapest single bolt mounts around
Does exactly as described. I put a piece of threaded rod through each base and bolted it top and bottom. Easily slotted the thread into concrete for a very secure anchor point for pergola posts. No rotting posts in future.
4 out of 5 bent, due to poor welding. Had to unbend before they fit the posts. Do the job though, and are cheaper than the alternatives.
I have used a few of these for deck post feet to keep the bottom of the post off the ground. Having looked around they are good value and quite sturdy with a good galvanised dip finish. They are pretty true to size and fit a 100mm sq post. If you don't need much lateral support then these are ideal, there isn't enough to be used for fence posts.
Very useful to preserve posts. Galvanised and heavily made
These lot down post bases are substantially built, should hold 4” post tight, haven’t used them yet though
Not the nicest looking but solid and does the job well, for the price it's a bargain
