Part Number FC20B10 does NOT include end fittings as shown and although the outside diameter is just 20mm the inside diameter was only 18; too small for my needs.I managed to get it working with a few scrap inserts and jubilee clips but it was not what I expected.
Whilst not designed for this purpose, the pipe worked well during recent pump over operation of about 800 litres of oil. The pipe still seems good after a month of exposure to the Kero.
Excellent quality product and did the job perfectly. Unfortunately I bought the wrong size by mistake, 20 mm instead of 25 mm but Andrew at Redruth gladly exchanged them even though I had unpackaged the first purchase. Top man!
My items were in stock and available within minutes. Perfect for my project.
Great bit of kit. Bear in mind that this doesn’t let you slip the wires/cables in via a lateral slit along its length. You need to feed the cable through which is done with ease. The fittings to secure to metal or thin-ish wood are actually very effective.
I can only give it 3 star as after going to collect it I realised that it was not what I needed. But 5 stars to the gentleman behind the counter who found something else to fit the bill.
Could do with string inside to help pull through would make it 5star
Quality product exactly what I wanted. Used to provide power to outside Garden Room.
Very easy to use. I used mine to run electrical cable underground for a short distance.
This is my second purchase of this item as the first purchase has been a success. Have bought it to protect cabling for my lights around my garden. Has done a great job so far.
With amazing service, Toolstation found the right product for me and saved me a lot of time and trouble. Thankyou for your fridnfly and welcoming service.
25 mm conduit is the external diameter , not the ID for connnecting to standard fittings, no use at all.
Does what it says on the tin. Decent quality and cheaper than the other store
Plenty of length and well made, the conduit is flexible and ribbed
Easy to use, easy to cut to size, great value for money
Don't Know, its someone else using my trade account !!!!
I can confirm that the 50m and shorter reels appear to be the same product which was helpful in my instance. Other than that not much to report, it's conduit, it works well and quality is adequate
Was able to use this conduit although had difficulty, tracing a wire through it on my own,as it kept curling back to its shape. Managed in the end.
The conduit is ideal for the smaller task such as the one I had to bury a low voltage power supply in my garden (to a mower charging station). At 10m long it keeps cost low and is sufficient for most small tasks. The conduit is strong but flexible and while I am sure the connectors are useful, I could not figure out how to use them, and they do not fit a 20mm solid pipe.... but perhaps that is just me !
I searched the TS website for split conduit & this item came up. I bought it in good faith & then discovered when I got it home that it wasn't split conduit after all. (Toolstation don't stock split conduit, I have now discovered). The store refunded my money promptly but it was a frustrating & time-wasting experience that I could have done without, TBH.
