I replaced rotted wooden caps with these. Don’t think they would withstand an impact as they’re a bit flimsy but very reasonably priced and they won’t rot.

These caps are brilliant and so simple to fit, just one wire nail through the top and it’s done.
Will shed water and stop it entering the end grain and comes in black but can be painted as needed

Great post tops for stopping posts rotting. There's a small hole on top for nailing it on but I put a blob of sealant in the hole and then attached the plastic caps with a few blobs of sealant. Only £9 for 10 caps but will keep the posts from rotting at the top.
Good product. It would be good if they came with matching connectors.

These don't actually measure 75mm they measure 85mm. Very poor quality as well.
fence post cap was a perfect fit on a 75mm wooden fence post, its also brown in colour so looks good too
Bit brittle, need to drill holes for fixing but look alright
More affordable and practical solution than a wooden cap.
Grest post caps but quite expensive for what they are.
These finish the top of post and gives a good looking finish for the price obviously not as strong as the metal ones which are 4 x dearer
