It’s a cable. It can go round bends. If you strip the cores you can attach it to light switches and electricity can flow along it! It’s absolutely fine for its purpose.
Enough cable for a small job saved buying to much as the larger rolls are so expensive
3 core and earth - not much to say - seems fine, and did the job I needed at a reasonable cost
