Used on hard floor and didn’t stick had to stick down with tape
Adhesive quality is very poor. Don’t waste your hard earned cash. I had to dispose of two rolls. Really poor product 0/10
Very difficult to use it tears because the roll is very tightly wound up I got it to stick to floor in the end difficult to keep a line when it’s down it saves the floor from paint damage .
Sticks to everything ( especially itself ) except the carpet
Multi surface… more like multi destructive… ruined a fireplace and cost me £360.00 to replace it. Was only on there 8 hours whilst plastering a ceiling… so the moral of the story is, cover your items for this if you fancy working for free for the day.
Got this as it was supposed to be multi surface. It is, it doesn't stick to carpet or hard flooring. Just pay a bit more and get genuine roll and stroll.
I was dubious at first because of ither reviews , I cheaped out and saved 2 or 3 quid and to be honest I thought it was really good , I mopped a hard surface floor dried it and pulled 2 ft out stood on it and walked it down the entire room , scissors cuts it well and then I did the same along side it , tip is to not try do it so fast it blows the edges up and when a peice is down dont worry if it doesn't seem to stick that well you need to use a soft broom and brush it out it sticks like mad and I've been working on it in trainers work boots and in some areas for hours at a time amd 1 week in its still in one peice
Other than being a fiend to lay this does the job for paint protection on laminate. Obviously no impact resistance but used the black sheets for that.
Tried this product, and it had no stick to carpet what so ever, unfortunately i opened one of the rolls but took the other back and purchased the slightly more expensive clear one
Quite thin, not the best to stick down to carpets. Static makes it difficult to place solo. Would be ok for covering worktops or non porous surfaces.
Bought this as well as the roll and scroll and this product stuck a million times better than the dearer one
Good product to protect newly laid flooring not too sticky just right easy to remove at the end of the job. Good price too
Great film to protect radiators and any other surface
good quality item, does the job perfectly.........
This is not as sticky as other protectors, but its way easier to apply to a hard floor (not suitable for carpets) which is a bonus. If its just for keeping the floor protected during decorating this product works very well, if there is going to be building work going on, then probably best to opt for something more heavy duty
Very bad no sick at all on floor. Waste of money. I cean all the wood floor to make good stick on it ... very dis appointed
Not the best felt I wasted my money very low stick.
I usually use the other brand but as this one the only on in stock I had to get this. Overall it ain’t the strongest on the market or the stickiest but still gets the job done
Very thin no adhesion on carpet which was what it was bought for, really was a total waste of money, it was all they had in store so i had to have something quick and bought this. After trying to get it down several times only to find it was just useless at gripping. I went back to Toolstation's rival who had plenty in stock, should have gone there 1st I guess. Will do next time, beginning to find there is a gap widening between the two outlets now.
Not great, not really sticky on carpet. I appreciate this is a cheaper alternative to named brands but would have expected Toolstation to do better. Maybe okay for domestic users on a tight budget.
