It's probably fantastic when used on actual electronic killer mice but with one week of ownership the score v old school flesh and blood mice in the garage is old school traps 2, electronic trap nil. Not yet a statistically significant test.
Did the job. Used Ultra batteries bought from
Toolstation to ensure it had max juice and worked the first night. No mess.
Seems well build and it is easy to set up, but failed to catch any mice despite being active for 4 weeks.
Porridge oats in the end, red light flashing in the morning, contents outside for nature to finish off, no mess no poison etc. make sure batteries are good I use GP ones from TS.
Bought to deal with mice in kitchen. Used normal mouse traps before which can leave mice severely injured and distressed which is aweful and messy. This electric one has been effective. Only downside is we applied peanut butter inside the bait section, didnt clean up after the catch and this seems to have caused trap to not work. Fiddly to clean so maybe add some bait on a piece of biscuit rather than to the bait part of the trap as peanut butter stuck and trickly to clean. Great piece of kit
Very easy to set up, no messing about with springs. Just load the bait in the trap area and switch on. Hey presto.
Had excellent reviews but we must have clever mice nothing has been caught but they are still here. Disappointed as had good reviews nothing been caught mouse droppings near trap but still visible. Wish they would use trap 🤔
Very easy to setup , baited the trap with a tiny piece of mars bar , now less 1 mouse. Worth the extra money as the mechanical ones are not very humane.
After failing to get the mice with traditional traps and bait I bought this electric one. I have a web cam set up with motion detection, it set of and sure enough recorded the mouse going into the trap.
It works! Great for those high IQ mice that I’m starting to think have evolved to recognise manual traps. Was having no luck so purchased this out of desperation, placed in between 2 manual traps and it caught on the first night. Really easy to empty out. Worth checking often as I don’t think the green light stays illuminated when it’s caught, it seems to blink every 30 seconds so easy to miss.
Caught 2 so far, so I'm impressed! Simple to use. Only complaint is it's a bit fiddly to get the bait to stick to the spot it needs to go onto
Very happy to be rid of it… worked 1st night just need to dispose of remains
Highly successful, totally clean to use and immediately ready to re-position.
Nice and compact, easy to use and seems very effective
Ordered this through click and collect and service in store was excellent. Set it up as instructed with chocolate/peanut spread and put it in the cupboard. Next morning green flashing light and an electrocuted mouse tail showing out the back of the unit. I’m a squeamish female living alone, however the unit is easy to empty, I just tipped it over the bin and an intact mouse fell out. There were a further 4 over the next 5 nights. Then nothing for several days which made me a bit complacent, until another this morning :(
I highly recommend this product, it’s worth every penny.
Very good, worked shortly after baiting .Will buy again.
caught and killed one mouse the first day and a second mouse the next day.
Excellent, easy to set up. I used a small piece of peanut butter making sure not to get any on the metal plate switched it on put it in my shed and had four mice in 2 days 👍🏼
Very effective, we've had three in a week. highly recommended.
Did the trick. Killed the poor little blighter but hopefully as quickly as possible. Live trap and outdoor release is pretty much a death sentence as a house mouse outdoor is easy prey. So electrocution seems to be the most humane approach.
