This connector did the job and allowed a difficult fit to another connector which fitted a cast-iron waste female....

Changed out a Wc for the Comfort type, 2.5inches higher than the original. Needed to use a new Offset Connector and selected this one. Fitted easily and without any problem.
The connector was perfect dimensionally however inserting the "male" spigot into the soil pipe was difficult as the rubber seal kept being pushed along the connector rather than into the pipe. I lubricated with some detergent and this made the situation worse as the detergent also lubricated the white plastic. I made a collar from a 15mm thick piece of upvc facia to take up the space between the shoulder of the adaptor and the rubber seal to stop it moving and this solved the issue.

This was perfect for my WC as the old one was a fixed off-set type. After renewing the floor the old type was useless. Also Macalpine is the best name to buy.
When I tiled the floor, I used this offset pan connector to accommodate the difference in floor height from the WC to Soil stack. It sealed perfectly and looks great. I was pleasantly surprised by the price. I would use this again.

Provides an effective sealed connection between pan and macerator. I was able to cut to size and fit myself. No leaks.
Upon fitting a new toilet in the bathroom i discovered the outlet into the soil pipe was slightly higher than the old one and with no movement due to the wall being tiled this fitting was exactly what i needed to finish the job. Thank goodness for this offset fitting.
