It did the job but it wandered a bit. Gotta keep your wits about you when using because of the wander. It created a screw thread on a pipe at one point. Not so much an ideal solution, more ‘Sub-optimal’
Rated as 3 star because it’s a good tool for general use, I bought it to see if it would cut thin stainless steel pipe. It survived 2 cuts, but I’m sure it will be sufficient for all other pipe
Not great cutter. Purchased to cut 42mm copper for industrial job. Did 3 cuts and then started spiralling on every cut. Had to revert to hacksaw for remaining cuts.
Solid tool built to cut mild steel pipes.
Good tool, perfect for cutting larger diameter pipe we had
Works great on exterior (black) waste pipes, not so good on interior (white) waste pipes.
Not great on plastic pipes. Could also do with a better mechanism to keep it square on the pipe.
works great three turns job done on 40mm plastic pipe
Ok on smaller pipe but they don’t cut true on larger ringing all the time
Got some 1" copper pipes to cut so thought a proper tool was needed, and this is it. Effortless, but not designed for confined spaces :)
Cut one pipe and the wheel broke. Not happy.
It might be down to me but it likes to cut threads on pipes instead of neatly cutting. I did manage a few alright cuts. Possibly I need to practice or there is a specific way.
This pipe cutter disintegrated within 20 seconds of use. It was replaced, but unfortunately the second one broke as well. I am an arthritic 77 year old and I was not heavy handed.
Good once it gets going but the initial cut wonders off in a spiral along the length of the pipe.
