Does the job nicely. Note that the product description says 750mm long, but I think that refers to the packaging! Actual item is about 550mm - so its ok unless you want to reach that point that is 600mm down from the plug, in which case find something else.
The only product I could find which enables you to dredge crud from an inaccessible u-bend through a non-removable plug hole grill so the flow is freer. So it solved my problem (although there must be some other blockage further down, as the flow is not perfect, but it's certainly better.
Perfect tool for dealing with hair stuck down the drainpipe. Highly recommended!

Saved a lot of time clearing a blocked scuttle drain on my motorhome. I had previous tried flexible curtain rods and wire. This tool cleared the blockage in seconds. Lost a star as seemed expensive for what it is.

This little tool is great. I was very confident hair was the cause of my bath not draining properly so wanted to try this before jumping to a chemical option. It pulled the hair out with ease and has solved the issue. Highly recommend.
Bought this along with a sink plunger to clear a blocked sink which we couldn't clear with Mr Muscle. After we'd loosened all the muck with the plunger and got the water to start to drain, this marvellous tool was able to drag out all the hair that was the root cause of the blockage. Definitely recommended. Twirling the stick really helps grab all the fibrous material .. like twirling spaghetti on a fork.
This costs about the same as a bottle of drain cleaner but you can use it over and over again. For me, it's one of those products that "just works" - brilliant in it's simplicity but really effective. I use it to get hair out of a deep shower trap and it's the only thing I've found that works.
Absolutely superb, cleared a massive hair clog in the shower in two minutes flat. Well worth the price.

Great item. Used to remove plastic rim block cage that had been accidentally flushed round the bend making loo clog. Saved a fortune on professional help even though item is expensive for what it is.

This is really good for the price, I used it in the shower and it pulled out a huge block of hair and the rest went straight down the pipe. My shower plug no longer smells, a great result thanks Toolstation.
Mini snake is a handy tool for unblocking u bends on sinks and showers. I used it to unblock my WC managed to get in around the s bend making sure it followed the outside of the bend. This partially worked the stagnant water then went down slowly. This tool would have been better 1m in length and is why it lost one star.
