They appear to be very good compared to the cheaper masks but still lets some dust through. After fitting glass fibre insulation in my loft for about 3 or 4 hours I took the mask off and noticed on the inside a disturbing amount of fibres stuck on the valve. There was a lot of condensation from my breath inside the mask which is why they stuck to the surface of the valve. I don't know if the fibres passed through the valve or passed the seal between the mask and my face. From just this first experience, the mask is clearly not good enough for adequate protection from glass fibre which is a dangerous material. Next time I will try to fit it tighter to my face and hopefully it will do a better job. To be fair the seal around the mask looks very well made and the mask itself maintains its shape when pulled onto the face. Wait and see.
