Been meaning to get a new pair of these for aoke time, and seeing the numerous amount available and wondering why the prices are so varied, when all do the same thing, i decided to go with a cheaper option to start off with. And that's where it will end too. These are excellent value for money. No need to fork out 10's of £s for something else that does exactly the same job! Happy!

I have several slip-joint pliers like this, they are really versatile, so I keep one in the car, one in my toolkit, one in the house, one in my bicycle bag. Apart from anything else, I have come across a few screw lids which were impossible to open by hand, these do a great job.

These were the only reliable pliers when struggling to replace some Ceramic Tap Glands of which one side was really tight. With some persistence these eventually did the job.
