For just around £30 you can unblocked your drain. The rod can go steep bend easily.
Easy to fix together and undo, handy carry bag aswel.
Trash, don’t bother - only bought to do an emergency job and didn’t want to spend much on some rods at my MIL’d house. The first rod kinked immediately, and I don’t fancy in clipping all those studs once they’re covered in filth. Just get decent screw in ones
These are perfect for the job, a nasty job made a whole lot easier with this set! They come in a great robust bag and are simple to set up making sure that we stayed clean.
Great rods (poo sticks)…good quality & will earn you money from the get go. Minotaur stuff is pretty good on the hole.
I purchased these to clear a blockage from a drain - on the first try the drain rods came apart leaving 3 sections stuck in the drain - so far I've paid £250.00 to a drainage company who were unable to get them out and it now looks like I may have to dig up the drain to get them out . Avoid at all costs - the connection design is not secure!! If I could leave zero stars I would.
Bought with associated chimney cleaner and surprised to find the rods are click lock and don’t work with the twist chimney kit as it is a universal screw. Surprise another connector was required to be bought. Now left with a brush and rod stuck up the chimney as not as robust as twist and unlocked. Not recommended.
All very simple to find what I wanted & a very good quality product.
A standard set of robust drain rods but (for me) the winner was the decent storage bag so they all stray together until next time!
Avoid these type of rods. They are pin type and they came apart in the drain. Buy screw type rods instead. Otherwise you might end up digging up your path to get them out. I was lucky and managed to push them out. I took these back for a refund.
These drain rods are nice and flexible, seem secure, little bit difficult to undo in the dark but ok with a torch
For the price good sturdy rods, minor issue is the locking system is not easy to unlock
Really easy tool to use and got the drain unblocked so it done what it was supposed to do . No drama and had all the parts needed .
Used once and they snapped at the ferral breaking off in the drain. I would never use or buy them again
Excellent service in the shop. Drain rods came in handy carry bag. Click fir attachments so they don't come unscrewed by accident. Job done half an hour after we got home.
Used them a couple of times. They are a bit fiddly to take apart and I found a small screwdriver as effective as the supplied key. Pleased with them though and handy to have the bag too, which I’ve attached the key to using a zip tie
Poor quality the key does not fit or engage pins so it is difficult to disassemble.
