These are not the best quality calipers I have ever had in my hands but also far from the worst. I expect them to give reliable measurements in occasional use without the risk of the battery being flat when I come to use them.
I recently sold three Moore and Wright micrometers, internal and external with the object of replacing them with one single caliper. I was originally looking at digital for twice the price, then decided on a manual caliper. Bought this caliper and then checked the accuracy against a set of metric drills I have. Really happy with purchase though I would have preferred the inch scale to have been in tenths rather than eighths.

Seem well made, and comes in sturdy enough case. These have proven so useful I just wish I’d bought a pair years ago! All sorts of measuring uses, but great for small holes, screw/bolts etc. Might not be as exact as the digital pair, but seem pretty accurate so far.
