Said Heavy duty on the title and did not dissapoint . Solid tool with good ergonomics
Been using a junior hacksaw for small jobs. Though I would up grand to full size .Glad I did this a strong and easy to use one
Great value for money cuts well and just the right size
This is great value, a really rigid feeling frame, easy to tension. Blade is unbranded but works ok and is, of course, easy and cheap to replace. The bits you can't replace seem really good for the money.
Asked assistant in store that I needed a heavy duty hacksaw to cut bolts on my daughters hut latch as it was broken into, told him I stay in Clydebank and my daughter in Falkirk so I needed one that would definitely work, he went out of his way to look in computer and get me one that was high quality but very affordable, a big pat in the back to him, it did the job brilliantly an effortlessly
Bought this to cut some aluminium rails, and composite fence panels, absolutely brilliant saw....good quality and sturdy....did the job in no time ..... highly recommend.
Nice grip, good blade, sturdy. Cycled to Penzance and ordered instore
Excellent hacksaw. Went through metal bike seat tube no problem. Lightweight but very sturdy ...would definitely recommend
A very good robust tool. Blade changing is straight forward. Great value for money.
Well made saw and easy to tension blade. Does the job well
Perfect size and really excellent price. Really handy piece of equipment to have in your tool box.
This is one superb hacksaw at a very competitive price. Used it to cut a metal rod into three lengths and it cut easily using a 24 tooth blade. I’ve had hacksaws that just don’t make the grade compared to this one. Highly recommend.
It’s a very comfortable’ ergonomic grip. I was planning to cut stainless steel and as I had read it tended to toughen with cutting and required bimetallic blades to make an impression I thought “comfortable grip is important” The blade sits on two pegs which don’t look too strong. But time will tell. The pegs have two positions, one set at 90° and another at an angle. I prefer the 90°. But have used the offset when space was cramped and the 90° wouldn’t fit. The tensioner is a big red rotating clip at the handle end. It is ergonomic too and once I realised how it worked it was very easy to use
Great quality hacksaw (for work tool kit) that’s much better than the light duty one I’ve had (for DIY) for 25 years.
Seems very sturdy, holds blade at a good tension .
Good design with strong looking holding mechanism.
This hacksaw is comfortable and feels well built. Ergonomic blade tensioner.
Good quality hacksaw that is well made for the price point.
Good enough to saw through plastic guttering. Just have to pinch the plastic residue out from the blade between each cut.
Very handy peice of tool 🔧 to have indoors as it does the job for me
