Achieved a neat, straight cut in embossed aluminium heat shield. Stainless steel cable ties tend to slip between the blades unless held at right angles, but I think this is due to the thin gauge of the ties rather the the quality of the snips.
Something to note is that the "right" and "left" refers to the side on which the waste material curls away when being cut. It has nothing to do with right- or left-handed operation.
Needed urgent to cut cable tray, did the job and seems decent for the price
