Wasn’t sure this would be man enough to do the job having struggled to go through the wall with a 8mm Bosch masonry bit… softly softly is the way to go… went through the first wall, then made its way through the second, a nice clean hole and no breakout… success, repeated this another three times, all as good as the first, happy chappy

Absolutely zero experience of using this sort of drill bit but with my cordless Makita drill it cut cleanly through a row of cinder block followed by a row of hard red brick.
Took a little time to allow it to cut rather than force it but a lot easier than I thought if I’m honest.
Arbor obviously a requirement!
Worth paying the extra , should last a long time , cuts so much better than my old one

Our company have always brought Mexco core drills , there’s a bit more money that some other makes , but what you get is a good cutting edge with a lot more diamonds and a quality build . We find that most people are price driven so if you are that’s fine just will take you longer to cut a hole . There alway a reason why things cost more
Not up to the job and hour to get through 70 mm of stone
Bought to cut a hole in the wall for my tumble dryer, did a great job. Used with my Makita SDS drill, couldn’t fault it. The drill bit is a bit short for what I needed so bought a longer one but the cutter itself is really good.
Much better than my previous cutter, took a third of the time to drill holes for extractor fans.

excellent value core but. i find no matter what you spend the bits eventually blunt, but twice as much money doesn't mean twice the performance
Cut nicely through a one foot thick sandstone block to put in a waste pipe in a matter of minutes. Having previously bought a cheaper one for a different diameter, I decided to buy this and wasn't disappointed. Paying a few pounds extra really made a quicker and easier job. Pity the pretty blue colour is lost almost instantly...
the item was what was ordered and a very fast service from Mexco i would order from them again the service was excellent.
No diamond chips on leading edge so asked for refund

Not up to the job of cutting stonework over 100 mm
