Fitted onto a steel post for existing gate, easy to weld and use, hole was slightly larger than hoped so ensure you allow for this when fitting.
Hole not drilled in centre. Is what it is.

I bought this not for welding but as a chunky washer for a farm gate repair. Does the job better than a pack of penny washers. However, it will rust if not painted/protected. Something to bear in mind if it's going to be used outside.
