These gate hinges are OK.but they are priced with the 8" cheapest and the 4" expensivest.

Good solid chunky hooks for hanging heavy duty gates. I’ve used these to hang 2.5m long 1.8m high beasts of steel gates. Out of 12 of them I have bought they hold out well. Although, in two instances the external bolt has split clean through, only across one side of the hex, and not enough to put undue stress and cause further splitting to undermine the whole bolt, but a split bolt, especially one so big is a little alarming. Maybe the casting process, or the composition needs some improvement.

Grateful to discover Toolstation stock these adjustable eye bolts as I required them to finish installing heavy duty wooden driveway gates. Tried with a similar nationwide outlet who were not able to supply them in store or by delivery. Arrived next day by time quoted and courier was polite and courteous.
