Does exactly what it's supposed to. No problems whatsoever.
I needed to connect some new waste pipe to an old clay drain pipe (1930s) and this fitted perfectly. I used some washing up liquid to help the rubber fins slip into the clay pipe, and this fitted securely. I was dubious whether it would fit as the dimensions are not 100% clear but this fits in to a 4”/100mm (approx) clay pipe no problem.

Very easy to install, make sure the pipe that you're connecting it is flat with no sharp edges, apply some dish soap to the rubber and it will slide in in seconds. Makes work easy when working below ground too.

As always, these things never really work out at the weekend. Toolstation were the only one of the big guys to have something to offer, in stock!
Bought the item to adapt a plastic hopper to a ceramic pipe. Despite the dimensions indicated in the product spec., I was unable to securely fix the connector into the ceramic pipe.
I had measured both existing parts which tallied with the spec. of the connector however, the securing rings prevented a successful fixing.
Not the fault of Toolstation so I didn’t return it preferring to ‘bodge’ it!

Excellent product. I had to replace a damaged soil pipe and this product enabled me to joint to the existing pipe without the need for excavation of the ground.
Fits nicely and seals well. Not much more to say...
Bought this to connect new 4 inch waste into new groun water pipe diring renovation. As with all McAlpine kit - did the job perfectly. Very low profile and was wasy to connect.
