Solid Construction, Cheap and Safe - better than buying dangerous stuff online. However, as with all wind-up extensions, when wound it can handle a much lower load, and I would simply use a normal extension
Basic but does the job, winds up well but quite flimsy
I use this when giving talks, to provide power for a laptop and digital projector. It’s light and compact to transport, and very convenient to retract the cable after use. All the sockets operate smoothly.
Whilst it works ok rewinding the cable is fiddly and an issue … next time I will find something that is more solid and rewinds with ease.
I was looking for a four-socket relatively short extension lead which lead me to the Masterplug 13 casette cable reel.
I would prefer an open cable reel, but with infrequent use over a short length, this hit the budget and it takes a little less space,although it is not as smooth an open cable reel. Good to have four sockets on-tap.

Was not impressed at all, cable was very stiff and the plug is made of hard plastic and broke when I was removing from the outlet. I received a refund.

I then sprayed all the cable with silicone spray and now it’s working easily and smoothly, so all good 👍

Good quality extension cord. Good value for money. It winds back easily and is compact and therefore can be stored with no problem with storage
