I expected this to be the type that you pushed up on it and it then fell down. It’s not. You slide the hatch forward and then it falls down. To put it back up you need to push it back up horizontal to the ceiling and slide it back into place.
I’m 6 feet tall and even standing on my tip toes it’s difficult to close it.
This purchase was to get rid of the ladder I needed to keep in a cupboard upstairs so I could get up/down my loft.
I’ve overcome that by keeping a bit of 4x2 wood under a set of drawers - that gives me the extra couple of inches I need in height 😜
Other than that it is a good product.
So easy to fix in place, took me 30 mins to drop old on and fix this one. It does as they say, seals completely

The loft hatch easy enough to fit slide action a little stiff once fitted but will £probably loosen with use
Very sleek design. Easy to install and operate and the thin insulation foam doesn't get in the way of the loft ladder. All in all, very pleased!

This loft hatch was not easy to open and close. Installed as per the instructions but because of the design to slide the door forward to lock and slide back to open wasn’t easy task. You needed another ladder to go up and do this by hand rather then with a pole. Did not like this at all.

I brought this as it was the right size. When I opened it up and saw the quality, I didn’t even try to fit it and chose to take it straight back. Cheap brittle feeling plastic, very flimsy. I ended up paying a little more to get a steel one with fitted door insulation and locking mechanism.

Great product, muxh better air seal than the old hatch. Easy to fit, no trouble to open so long as installed on a flat surface.
Great product. Only thing wrong . If you get high winds sometimes the door will make a noise . But for the price . Add a thicker rubber seal
Very easy to install, and to use. You will have to buy a Pole to to open and close. looks professional, hinge blockers were missing, manufacture sent them the next day.

These are great for easy access to the loft, not easy to fit if you're not a competent diver.
Lightweight and easy enough to fit. The instructions for opening and removing the door are not clear, but the mechanism isn’t too difficult to work out. Take note of the comments from other buyers about not over-tightening the screws when attaching the frame to the ceiling - the entire thing is constructed from plastic and will twist easily. The light weight of the door means it’s easily held up by the 12 supplied screws anyway. Neat appearance when installed.
