Fantastic piece of kit. Bought to replace a 12 yr old previous model. This new one is certainly different, but in many ways much better, if a little difficult to get your arms around to actually pick it up despite being more compact when set up.
That said, with the corresponding Makita stand, it's an awesome combination that I'd pick any day, over the DeWalt or Bosch (closest competitors).
