The Makita DSC121 18V LXT Brushless Threaded Rod Cutter uses hydraulics to cut through threaded rod like a hot knife through butter.
Thanks to the high efficiency brushless motor, this tool can cut up to 500 M12 steel rods on a single battery charge (6Ah)
The rod cutter features a reverse switch as well as battery protection to prevent over-discharge. This extends the operational life of the battery.
The cutter will also be able to cut Mild or Stainless Steel: W5/16, W3/8, W1/2, M8, M10, M12
At the heart of this tool is the brushless motor that allows you to use the tool efficiently.
As part of the design, the tool utilizes every bit of battery power when you need, all while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance by reducing the amount of heat generated and working more efficiently.
