The DJV181Z jigsaw boasts a brushless motor which allows the user to achieve an upto 50% increase in runtime per battery charge, meaning that you'll have plenty more time to get that precise finish that you're after.

This DJV181 is a Makita barrell handle jigsaw, which has a different design to its brother the DJV182 in that it doesn't have the traditional D handle.
Some users perfer this design as it allows greater control of the saw nearer the blade and also is much easier to hold when inverting the jigsaw underneath a material.

One of the impressive features of the DJV181 is the electronic push button switch which not only powers the machine but also locks off the jigsaw.
This is a step away from the traditional trigger from the D handle version.

The DJV181 jigsaw has has 3 orbital settings allowing for customised cuts, as well as a straight cut mode.
The Aluminium base has a bevel range of 0 to 45 degrees.

You can easily attach a dust extractor to this brushless Makita jigsaw by attaching the included nozzle to the sawdust exhaust port situated at the rear of the tool.
