The DFS452's brushless motor minimises friction to the internal mechanism, reducing battery power consumption and contributing to the tool's long service life. Energy efficiency is also improved by the DFS452's push drive technology, which only engages the motor in lock on mode when a fastener is loaded. Accurate nail placement is ensured thanks to the screwdriver's elastomer over-moulded ergonomic handle, advanced ergonomics and smooth pulling trigger, all of which help to reduce fatigue when undertaking bigger jobs. Control is further enhanced by the tool's variable speed control feature and forward / reverse mode selection, as well as by an LED work light for clear illumination of the workpiece. An additional benefit is Makita's one touch locator feature, which improves productivity by allowing for quick and easy single movement loading of fasteners.
