Goid piece of kit, low vibration, various speed settings. Dust collection bag works well too.
Difficult to control on surfaces that are not flat - needs two handles. Short battery life, and still a brushed motor (unlike some of the fakes which have brushless) A premium price to pay for the inconvenience of having to charge the battery and no better motor life. Returning to a cheap mains powered sander.

Quality tool. Does the job, nice and compact. Perhaps could come with hoover attachment as well though.

Not a bad upgrade from my previous hand sander, as yes fits in palm of hand and workable, okay so a bit bulkier and heavier, but better results. Also I have a large collection of Makita batteries as opposed to two dying ones from my old hand sander.

I'm sure this is a great tool but for me it was no good i began sanding down the surfaces and managed to only get about 20 mins run time on a 5ah battery.... luckily I had 2 which allowed me to carry on but since it takes almost 50 mins to fully charge a 5ah battery this to us not good for long use.
Ice since returned it and purchased a 240v sander.
Great cordless sander. Not as powerful as it's electric counterpart but is a good thing when used for tidying edges etc. Surprised at the efficiency of the extraction bag. Medium to light work would recommend without hesitation. Though could do heavier work you would require a few batteries.
Used on 40 to 240 grade - Slight scratching of wood when using 40 - 80 after that there was no scratching.
Before anyone comments I appreciate that you would use a range of papers when working but with this type of sander I have had scratching even on the finer grade paper with other makes.
Very easy to use with my 5ah battery which lasts a long time. Nice to have 3 settings. Would have given 5 stars if the suction bag did a bit better.
Excellent tool Done table& chairs and also bench. Being cordless it is easy to use.
